About MintWit

MintWit is a personal finance education site focused on helping people think more clearly about money, income, and long-term financial decisions.

The site was created to demystify everyday financial topics and provide practical insights that help readers better understand how money works in real life — from budgeting and credit to retirement planning, mortgages, and investing fundamentals.

Rather than offering one-size-fits-all advice, MintWit aims to give readers the context, frameworks, and knowledge they need to make informed decisions that fit their own circumstances.

Our Mission

Money affects nearly every part of life, yet many people are left to figure it out on their own.

MintWit exists to make personal finance more approachable by focusing on:

  • Financial literacy over hype

  • Practical understanding over shortcuts

  • Long-term thinking over quick wins

Our goal is to help readers become more confident, thoughtful, and informed about their financial choices.

About the Founder

MintWit was founded by Scott Brown, a product innovator and entrepreneur with extensive experience building consumer services focused on income generation, market research, and user-centric digital products.

Scott is currently a Product Owner at Union Street Enterprises, where he has developed and launched several consumer platforms, including:

  • LevelSurveys.com

  • MakeSurveyMoney.com

  • RealSurveysThatPay.com

  • FocusGroupPlacement.com

These services help U.S. consumers find legitimate opportunities to earn supplemental income through paid surveys and qualitative market research studies, such as in-person focus groups.

Prior to Union Street Enterprises, Scott founded ResumeDirector and ResumeArrow, resume distribution services that were acquired by LiveCareer in 2011. It was during the post-acquisition integration period that Scott entered the market research industry, gaining firsthand experience with consumer data, incentives, and behavioral economics.

In 2025, Scott launched MintWit to share educational insights drawn from years of working with consumers, income platforms, and financial decision-making behaviors.
